Three Programs To Check Out
Wilson Reading System ® For Dyslexia
The Wilson Reading System ® For Dyslexia program is catered toward dyslexic children and those who struggle with reading. What is great about this program is that it takes a methodical approach to helping children with their reading comprehension. This program is an Orton-Gillingham designed, multi-sensory language program. The point of this program is to strengthen your child’s reading skills. This program is great for grades 2-12 and requires three weekly one hour sessions in the learning center. This program will help in reading comprehension, vocabulary acquisition, and reading fluency.
Sonday System® For Reading Skills
The Sonday System® For Reading Skills is geared toward kids who are in need of reading comprehension intervention/enrichment, English tutoring for English language learners, beginning readers, and those who need a structured learning method for reading and writing. This is an Orton-Gillingham program that addresses the requirements for research based curriculums, such as those catering to The No Child Left Behind Act. This program improves reading skills and helps to guide beginning readers, English language learners, and others in an easy process that will inevitably improve their reading skills.
Zoo-Phonics® Reading Comprehension Help
The Zoo-Phonics program is a little different than the above two programs because it utilizes the entire brain to teach a language. English is a very difficult language to learn, so this method focuses on hearing, speaking, seeing, moving, and touching to help students with their reading skills. Due to a solid method of teaching, children are able to gain understanding during this program.
